Engineering a more capable distributor
A software engineer who wrote his first program at twelve, Gislain holds degrees in Computer Science and Software Engineering. Since taking the helm of Randmar in 2016, he has modernized its infrastructure and built proprietary distribution and inventory management software from the ground up. His work draws on a detailed understanding of supply chain operations, shipping challenges and vendor relationships to solve the practical problems that shape a distributor’s performance.
Turning technical insight into commercial opportunity
In 2012, Gislain co-founded an e-commerce venture that used a custom-built crawling algorithm to automate competitor analysis and adjust pricing dynamically. That experience shaped his approach to Randmar: use technology to respond to market conditions and create opportunities for partners. Bringing this perspective to a business rooted in printers and supplies, he developed digital solutions for manufacturers and helped expand the company’s manufacturer portfolio.
Equipping partners for the next era of commerce
Through Randmar Academy, Gislain is making that experience accessible to others. The educational pathways he is building help new entrepreneurs launch modern storefronts and established resellers adapt their businesses to an increasingly AI-enabled economy.
