When I first started building ÉVORA Collections, I knew there would be a lot to learn. From choosing products and designing the website to marketing, SEO, and customer experience, running an online store involves much more than simply listing products and waiting for sales.

One of the biggest changes in my journey has been discovering how AI can help me manage these responsibilities and turn ideas into actual improvements.

Making Website Improvements More Accessible

One of the most valuable ways I’ve used AI is to improve my Shopify store.

I’ve worked on mobile navigation, product pages, collection layouts, and the shopping experience. With AI coding tools, I can explain a problem, describe the result I want, and work toward implementing a solution without having to write every line of code myself.

However, I’ve also learned that AI-generated changes still need testing. Something that works perfectly on a desktop might create problems on mobile, so checking the results is just as important as implementing them.

Creating Better Content and SEO

Content creation is another area where AI has made a significant difference.

I’ve been developing bilingual English and French blog articles for ÉVORA, focusing on questions customers actually ask before buying luggage.

Instead of publishing content simply to fill the blog, I try to create useful guides that help customers understand luggage sizes, materials, airline restrictions, and product features.

AI helps me research topics, organize information, improve SEO, and prepare translations. But I still need to verify the information and make sure the final content is relevant to my customers.

Learning More About Marketing and Analytics

Marketing has probably been one of the most challenging parts of building my store.

I’ve experimented with advertising, different creatives, product presentations, and promotional strategies.

AI helps me analyze campaign results, understand customer behaviour, and identify possible reasons why people visit a product page but don’t complete a purchase.

One important lesson I’ve learned is that more traffic doesn’t automatically mean more sales. Sometimes improving the customer experience is more valuable than increasing an advertising budget.

Exploring Automation

I’ve also started exploring how automation can simplify daily operations.

This includes email marketing, abandoned checkout recovery, content planning, and improving how customers receive information throughout their shopping journey.

My goal is not to automate every part of the business. It’s to reduce repetitive work while keeping the customer experience helpful and personal.

Learning with the Randmar Community

Being part of Randmar has played an important role in this process.

Having access to a community where people share knowledge, discuss challenges, and support each other has encouraged me to experiment with tools and ideas I might not have explored independently.

What I appreciate most is being able to apply what I learn directly to my store, see the results, and continue improving.

My Biggest Takeaway

The most important thing AI has taught me is that getting good results depends on asking the right questions and providing the right context.

AI can help with research, coding, marketing, and automation, but it doesn’t replace understanding your business or making decisions.

For me, AI isn’t about replacing the work of building an e-commerce business. It’s about making that work more efficient, learning faster, and being able to accomplish things that once seemed too complicated.

I’m still learning, testing, and improving ÉVORA every day, and I’m excited to see how these tools will continue to shape my journey.
