Rather than serving one type of buyer, the range covers scientific, financial and business, desktop and handheld, electronic, and printing calculators. That gives resellers several ways to position the category depending on the customer and application.
01 / Scientific calculators
One category, several customer groups
For education, Sharp’s scientific range extends from simpler models to advanced calculators designed for mathematics, statistics, biology, chemistry and other sciences.
At the upper end, the ELW516XGSL offers 640 functions, a 16-digit four-line WriteView display and modes for statistics, complex calculations, matrices, lists and equations. Other models provide different combinations of functions and displays, allowing the range to address different levels of scientific-calculator use.

02 / Business calculators
Calculators built for business tasks
Sharp’s lineup also extends well beyond education.
The EL738XT, for example, is positioned for financial applications and includes time-value-of-money calculations, amortization, cash-flow analysis and IRR.
Desktop models add another business-oriented layer. Products such as the ELVM73WH, EL334W and EL330W include cost/sell/margin functionality, while the range also offers tax calculations, memory functions and different display sizes depending on the model.
That creates opportunities to serve offices and business users with products selected around the work they actually perform.

03 / Printing calculators
Printing still has a place
Sharp continues to offer dedicated printing calculators alongside its electronic models.

EL2630LW
12-digit display and two-colour heavy-duty ribbon printer, with cost/sell/margin, time and tax calculations.

EL2201LG
Two-colour printing with business functions including cost/sell/margin and change calculations.

ELDP9001
Paperless printing with up to 300 stored entries and Check & Correct functionality.
For resellers, that means the category can cover customers looking for traditional printed records as well as those who prefer a paperless workflow.
04 / Desktop calculators
Everyday tools for the desktop
Sharp’s desktop range combines easy-to-read displays with practical calculation features for everyday office and business tasks.

ELVM73WH
Extra-large 12-digit display, flat keytops and cost/sell/margin calculations.

EL334W
Extra-large 12-digit display with a kickstand, cost/sell/margin and tax calculations.

EL124T Series
Angled 12-digit display, four-key memory and tax calculations. Available in grey and pink.
05 / Classroom instruction
An additional education story
One of the more interesting parts of Sharp’s calculator offering is not a calculator at all.

Designed for educators, the Sharp PC Simulator allows teachers and professors to display real-time calculator demonstrations for a class, helping students follow and reproduce complex calculations.
That gives resellers serving education customers another conversation beyond individual calculator sales: how the technology can be used as part of classroom instruction.

06 / The opportunity
A category worth another look
Calculators may be a familiar product category, but Sharp’s current lineup shows how many different applications exist inside it.
Scientific models can address education and technical work. Financial and desktop models support business applications. Printing models provide dedicated office functionality. And the PC Simulator extends the conversation into classroom instruction.
