Danielle Armand is Vice-President of Randmar Inc. Guided by the conviction that distribution should be simple, she works to reduce friction between brands and the Canadian market. Her focus is practical: give resellers accurate information, dependable procedures, and direct access to the tools they need to act with confidence.

A trained physicist, Danielle joined Randmar officially in 2020, although her experience with the family business began much earlier. Since the age of twelve, she has worked across nearly every type of role in the company. She likes to joke that the hardest problems she has solved belong to quantum physics. In practice, some of her most persistent challenges at Randmar have involved something more immediate: ensuring that essential information is accurate, that procedures are followed, and that both remain readily available to customers and colleagues.

Turning operational friction into useful tools

Early in her involvement at Randmar, customers regularly needed help resolving day-to-day operational issues. Since answering the same questions one at a time would not solve the underlying problem, with the guidance of Gislain, she learned to code and helped bring the required functions directly into Randmar's customer portals. Resellers could then complete more tasks themselves, respond more quickly, and rely less on manual intervention.

That experience shaped the way she approaches distribution. A useful solution must account for the people who operate it, the information they depend on, and the procedures that keep work moving. Her background in physics supports this disciplined way of thinking: understand how the parts interact, find the source of unnecessary friction, and build a solution that works in everyday conditions.

Opening access and creating practical value

Danielle later brought additional manufacturers into Randmar's ecosystem and opened those brands to the company's reseller network. Within the team, she provides technical support on tools, procedures, and best practices that help people work more efficiently. Across these responsibilities, her goal remains consistent: make distribution easier to navigate and make opportunities more accessible.
