Snapchat Ads Campaign Strategy
Prepare full-screen creative with an immediate offer hook and energetic, sound-on product storytelling.
Prepare the campaign with your assistant, review every creative, then upload approved assets manually.
The strategy
Built for Snapchat Ads
Use this strategy for a product story that can be understood in a fast full-screen moment. Your assistant prepares front-loaded headlines, vertical images and a short UGC-style video while keeping key elements away from the interface.
What you will create
6 copy assets
1 brand name up to 25 characters and 5 headlines of 20–30 characters.
2 vertical images
9:16, with the top and bottom 150px clear of logos and text.
1 eight-second video
9:16, fast-paced UGC style with energetic audio and protected top/bottom 150px safe zones.
Each campaign also includes organized copy and media files in Ad Platform / Ad Campaign / Ad and a preview.html at the platform-folder root when the assistant’s environment supports local files. The preview uses creative identifiers so you can request specific revisions.
Requirements and preparation
Provide these in your chosen assistant environment. This page does not collect documents or connect accounts.
Required
- An established Randmar reseller account and an authenticated Randmar MCP connection in ChatGPT or Claude.
- An online Shopify store with active product listings and an active Shopify plugin in your assistant environment, as required by the source SOP. For another business type, confirm an adapted scope before proceeding.
- Two or three verified product USPs or technical advantages. Although listed under optional inputs, the source marks these mandatory for grounding the copy.
- A usable product reference image. If Randmar has no product image, provide reference pictures before requesting media generation.
Optional inputs
- Specific product MPNs; otherwise the assistant selects top catalog products. Clarify the manufacturer only if an MPN is ambiguous.
- Brand guidelines and target audience / buyer avatar. Retrieve relevant Shopify-store-bound attachments where authorized; otherwise infer and declare one best-fit avatar from the products.
- A banned-words or competitor-name list, plus additional product reference pictures. The assistant must ask whether you can supply extra pictures before generation.
If you have not chosen a platform, the master SOP starts with Google Ads and suggests Microsoft reuse after your Google campaign is set up. This page selects Snapchat Ads.

Platform-specific specifications
These are the supplied exercise requirements. Your assistant checks current platform acceptance and tool support before production and reports any differences.
1. Creative Text Assets
Brand Name: 1 variation, up to 25 characters.
Headlines: 5 variations, 20–30 characters. Front-load the offer or hook.
2. Image Assets
Vertical (9:16): 2 full-screen images. Keep top 150px and bottom 150px clear of logos and text.
3. Video Assets
Vertical (9:16): 1 fast-paced UGC video clip, exactly 8 seconds long.
Execution: Sound-on design with energetic audio. Keep key visual elements inside top/bottom 150px safe zones.
From inputs to review
- Check the prerequisites, retrieve authorized product and brand information, and confirm the audience, pain point and desire.
- Prepare copy with verified claims, character counts and clear CTAs. Generate media using available Randmar MCP tools after resolving any source conflicts.
- Organize real assets, create and host the local preview where supported, and review creatives by identifier before any manual ad-manager setup.
Local files, image and video generation, and preview hosting depend on the assistant’s actual tools. Unsupported steps remain clearly marked pending. Automated campaign publishing is outside the SOP’s scope.

# Create a Snapchat Ads campaign Randmar Academy · Playbook Module 07 https://randmar.io/prompts/snapchat-ads ## Shared Master Guidelines — complete source # Academy - Creating Ad Campaigns Master Guidelines SOP Version: 2.0 Intended Audience: Randmar reseller working in ChatGPT or Claude (your AI agent) with the Randmar MCP installed. This is the master guidelines SOP. Shared process, prerequisites, inputs, and outcomes live here. Asset specs for each ad platform live in the platform SOPs listed below. Load this SOP first, then load the SOP for the platform you are working on. ## Prerequisites Reseller account is set up. Shopify store is online with active product listings. Shopify plugin is active in your agent environment. ## Inputs ## Optional Inputs Products: Specific product MPN(s) to advertise. (If omitted, the agent automatically selects top catalog products) (ask for manufacturer in the rare scenarios where an MPN is ambiguous). Ad Platforms: Targeted ad platforms. (Google, OpenAI, Meta, Microsoft, LinkedIn, TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat - Ask the user - if they do not know, work on Google ads and suggest copying the campaign to Microsoft after all is done and the user has set up their campaign in Google Ads). Brand Guidelines: Store branding directives attachments. (AI Agent: there’s an endpoint on Randmar MCP to list content related to the user’s shopify store (called attachments. They can often be present there. Use only store-bound attachments, not general partner-level attachments). Target Audience / Avatar: Detailed description of the target buyer. (If omitted, the agent will determine and declare the single best audience avatar based on the selected products ). (AI Agent: see note on attachments on Brand Guidelines) Core Product USPs: 2-3 unique selling propositions or technical advantages of the product. *(Mandatory for grounding high-converting copy angles)*. Banned Words List: Custom terms or competitor names to exclude from generation. Reference pictures: the Randmar tools for image and video generation will use the main picture of the product as reference by default, but supplying multiple reference pictures for a given product will lead to much better results. Heavily recommended, always ask the user whether they can provide them before proceeding. They can often be downloaded online (manually, by the user/reseller) from the website or shop of the manufacturer. On rare occasions, when Randmar has no picture for a given product, reference pics must be provided. Trying to generate pictures or videos will return error 500; insist on having reference pics in this scenario. ## Outcomes ## Expected Outcome Your AI agent will create a folder structure on your local disk (Ad Platform > Ad Campaign > Ad) containing all generated asset files. Each platform folder will include a preview.html file at its root. Opening this file in any browser displays an interactive visual mockup of how the copy, image, and video assets look on that platform. ## Out of Scope Direct automated campaign publishing via API. The user will manually copy/upload generated assets into platform ad managers. ## Instructions for the AI Agent Work with the user one platform at a time. Ask direct, single questions rather than overwhelming the user. Verify prerequisites automatically where possible, confirm optional inputs, and announce the target avatar's primary emotional pain point and psychological core desire before generating content. Strict Global Copy Constraints: Ban generic AI filler words including "elevate", "revolutionize", "look no further", "transform", "introducing", and "discover". All text assets must feature a clear, actionable call-to-action (CTA). After generating the content for a platform, host its preview page and give a localhost link to the user to click so they can see and confirm whether they like it, or want some creatives re-done (give every creative an identifier) Always use the Randmar MCP tools for image and video generation. Do not use your own tools for this. The Randmar MCP has tools specialized for the generation of pictures and videos, given a product SKU. You can get a SKU from a MPN easily with the Randmar MCP also. Keep the context size under control: do not look at all the generated pictures and videos - only do so when prompted by the user, and when you do, use a tool first to shrink them to a small resolution if they are huge. Before initiating the work for a given ads platform, open and follow the matching platform SOP by title (see Platform SOPs below). That SOP is the source of truth for creative text, image, and video specs. Before initiating the work for a given ads platform, check whether there are files relevant to the task in the Academy resources. Fetch and consult them if so. Never add text or captions to the videos. ## Platform SOPs Work one platform at a time. Open the matching SOP by title before generating assets: Academy - Google Ads (Non-Retail Performance Max) Academy - OpenAI Ads (ChatGPT Chat Cards) Academy - Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram) Academy - Microsoft Advertising Academy - LinkedIn Ads Academy - TikTok Ads Academy - Pinterest Ads Academy - Snapchat Ads ## Selected platform SOP — complete source # Academy - Snapchat Ads SOP Version: 2.0 Parent SOP: Academy - Creating Ad Campaigns Master Guidelines Intended Audience: Randmar reseller working in ChatGPT or Claude (your AI agent) with the Randmar MCP installed. Follow the parent SOP for prerequisites, inputs, outcomes, and agent workflow. This file is the source of truth for Snapchat Ads asset specs. ## 1. Creative Text Assets Brand Name: 1 variation, up to 25 characters. Headlines: 5 variations, 20–30 characters. Front-load the offer or hook. ## 2. Image Assets Vertical (9:16): 2 full-screen images. Keep top 150px and bottom 150px clear of logos and text. ## 3. Video Assets Vertical (9:16): 1 fast-paced UGC video clip, exactly 8 seconds long. Execution: Sound-on design with energetic audio. Keep key visual elements inside top/bottom 150px safe zones. ## Executable workflow and source decisions Carry out this exercise interactively for Snapchat Ads; do not merely summarize this page. The complete Master Guidelines and matching platform SOP are included above. Check relevant Academy resources if available; if a resource cannot be accessed, record the gap rather than pretending to have read it. Work on this selected platform only, asking one direct question at a time and reusing known answers. APPROVED SOURCE PRECEDENCE: Explicit platform-specific SOP requirements take precedence over the Master Guidelines whenever they conflict. The Master Guidelines apply by default. All generated assets must also comply with the applicable advertising platform’s current policies. Preserve all source requirements and identify applicable exceptions in the review record. Do not remove or silently modify platform-specific requirements. This rule applies across the whole campaign, including video text. 1. Verify the reseller account, authorized Randmar MCP connection, Shopify store, active listings and Shopify plugin where tools allow. The source is Shopify-specific, while the wider Playbook supports other businesses. If these prerequisites do not fit, explain the mismatch and ask for an explicitly agreed adapted scope; do not silently waive them or invent a service catalog/SKU. Distinguish verified facts, learner reports and missing information. 2. Identify the products and MPNs; resolve ambiguity and retrieve actual SKUs through authorized Randmar tools. Without product choices, select top catalog products from real evidence. Retrieve brand guidelines and audience information only from relevant Shopify-store-bound attachments, not general partner-level attachments. Respect account permissions. Never invent endpoint names or tools. 3. Confirm the 2–3 evidence-backed USPs (the source calls them mandatory despite the optional-input heading), banned words, exact CTA destination, language and campaign objective. Ask whether the learner can provide additional reference pictures. If no default product image exists, require reference pictures before requesting media; the source warns generation otherwise returns error 500. 4. Determine and declare one best-fit audience avatar, its primary emotional pain point and psychological core desire before creating content. Ground claims, warranties, reviews, shipping statements, offers and value metrics in verified evidence. ROAS copy angles are creative directions, not performance promises. 5. Develop the strategy and the exact platform copy and media manifest. Check every text asset's character count, required exact-length variants, angle distribution and CTA; retain the source's word bans. The global CTA constraint also applies to short text fields such as display names and brand names: if this conflicts with authentic branding or the platform field, surface it and ask for a scoped decision rather than changing the name or silently skipping the CTA. 6. Use ONLY actual available Randmar MCP image and video generation tools for these assets, with product SKUs and authentic references. Inspect live schemas, account permissions and current costs before generation; follow applicable approval requirements. Never substitute another media tool, fabricate media links or claim generation occurred without returned assets. If unavailable, prepare the copy, manifest and precise manual next steps, marking media as pending. Do not inspect all generated pictures/videos by default; inspect only when requested, shrinking huge media first as the source directs. 7. Validate available media metadata against required quantities, ratios, durations, safe areas and audio instructions; record anything unverified or needing rework. Apply the video-text rule below and check current platform policies before generation. All generated assets must comply with those policies. 8. When the execution environment supports local files, create Ad Platform / Ad Campaign / Ad, save the actual asset files with stable creative identifiers and put preview.html at the platform-folder root. Build an interactive platform-style mockup linking real copy/images/videos, with accessible creative selectors and identifiers. A mockup is not a live ad placement. If localhost hosting is supported, start it and provide a verified reachable localhost link for review. If it is not supported, state the limitation and provide an available file download or exact manual preview steps. Do not fabricate local paths, hosted URLs or completed files. 9. Present the complete review package and ask which identified creatives to approve or redo; regenerate through supported Randmar tools as needed. Record the approval, verified output locations and pending work. Automated campaign publishing is out of scope. The learner manually uploads/copies approved assets into the relevant ad manager. Account access, placements, file creation and hosting are never granted by copying this prompt. ### Video text decision Do not include video text or captions: this platform SOP does not explicitly require them. A safe-area reference to text alone is not a requirement to add text. Explicit platform requirements take precedence; preserve the master ban otherwise. Record any applied exception in the review package. For a newly discovered explicit source conflict, apply the centralized precedence rule and explain it; ask only if the requirement is ambiguous or current policies make it impossible. ### Source specifications and current capabilities Treat the source SOP values as the requirements for this exercise. Verify current ad-platform acceptance, advertising policies and actual tool support before relying on them. If a source requirement conflicts with current platform policies, report it and ask for a compliant revision; never generate a known noncompliant asset or silently replace the source values. For OpenAI Chat Cards, prepare concepts only unless actual placement/account capabilities have been independently verified; this exercise never automates publishing. ### Broader Playbook business context The preserved product SOP above applies to the product/reseller path. For a service, manufacturer, agency or business without Shopify, use the real business model and approved Module 01 brief, creative assets and Module 07 strategy. Reuse an already agreed adapted scope; ask for the concrete missing scope decision only if it has not been established. This explicit adaptation replaces the Shopify/active-listing prerequisite for that path, not the factual claims or platform creative constraints. Use learner-provided or otherwise authorized approved business materials; never search unrelated account attachments. Do not invent products, SKUs or a Shopify store. For non-product offers, prepare complete truthful copy, scripts and visual briefs using approved brand materials. Randmar product generation still requires a real eligible product SKU; if no applicable supported generation exists, record media production as pending with an owner and exact manual steps. Do not silently substitute tools contrary to the product SOP. This limitation does not block the complete Module 07 strategy/report, but cannot be described as finished media. ### Return to Module 07 — required parent handoff This platform exercise is one part of Paid Advertising, not the entire module. Parent module: https://randmar.io/playbook/paid-advertising Complete parent instructions: https://randmar.io/playbook/paid-advertising/agent.md Keep the parent's approved objective, ICP, channel decision, budget, decisions and progress. After this platform review, record the actual creative IDs/files, sources, approvals, unavailable media and manual launch state, then resume the next unfinished parent step without restarting the exercise. Complete the campaign structure, audience/exclusions, budget and contribution/CAC scenarios, tracking checklist, experiment matrix, optimization cadence and exact launch status. Use manual ad-manager setup for this specialist exercise; do not claim a campaign is live. Produce the full Paid Advertising Strategy & Campaign Execution Plan PDF after the parent review, including this creative package and all other required sections. If you lack file tools, provide the complete report text, preserving every item and table row as labeled records, and guide the learner through the full-report browser builder at https://randmar.io/playbook/paid-advertising#module-report-fallback or their existing document editor's PDF export. Inspect the actual PDF where supported; otherwise guide and record learner-confirmed page-by-page review without claiming your own visual inspection. Accept explicitly permitted integration deferrals with owners, obtain explicit module completion confirmation, then continue to Module 08. If parent instructions cannot be fetched, ask the learner to paste them; do not infer module completion from creative delivery.
